ASPEN SIMULATIONS
ENEX is a licenser of Aspen plant modeling software.
It is used for our internal Basic Engineering Design Packages
(BEDP) preparation as well as in support of specific designs for
individual client evaluations.
It may be used for specific evaluations and specifications of
equipment for plant improvement programs or expansions or for
optimization of existing operations.
EXPERT WITNESS PROGRAMS
ENEX engineers and technicians have served as
expert witnesses for a number of programs related to past experiences
and technical / business litigations.
Services include expert damage assessments of environmental, technical
and marketing breaches and mitigations thereof.
COMPUTER MODELS
ENEX has a demonstrated unique capability of constructing user friendly
computer models (normally in Excel) of existing or planned new plant
operations that allow the quick and easy determination of manufacturing
cost and profitability determinations for any variations in raw material
costs, operating conditions, market demands, energy costs, investment
constraints, etc. Such
programs provide support to acquisitions, plant expansions, marketing
programs, plant technology changes, competitive assessments, etc. and
create the ability to immediately define economic / profitability
comparisons under an infinite number of operating scenarios.
ACQUISITION /DIVESTURE SUPPORT SERVICES
ENEX
has completed several major acquisition support programs for major
world-scale chemical facilities that went to completion.
In addition, we have evaluated many more potentials, candidates,
opportunities for acquisition that did not progress.
Out evaluations have demonstrates high success confirming
technologies and defining future economic / profitability performances.
ENEX
provides a full range of services including environmental and technical
assessments of specialty chemicals, definitions of manufacturing cost

Programs included best cost versus rebuild time analyses, completion
and control of engineering and construction schedules, project management
services, damage assessments, insurance support programs, etc.
Enex also has a structured program for plant cost avoidance /
control.
