Enex completed a conceptual engineering and financial assessment program for a major new world scale refinery.  Enex was responsible for:

For the refined products optimization, selection and sizing of process units, Enex used and oversaw the services and refinery optimization model of UOP, a recognized leading world refinery technology supplier.

For the last decade, refining capacity in the USA has been limited to incremental expansions and process improvements.  During this time of �make-the-best-of-what-you-got�, Enex conducted major engineering, technology development/ definitions, and plant modification programs.  The programs were aimed at plant expansions, optimization of technology to gain better control of their product slate, to improve plant performance and to gain competitive advantage.  Specifically, Enex conducted �engineering for cost estimating� programs and defined the structure, costs and resulting economics for the varying technologies and competing plants.   Through such applied services, Enex has generated a strong understanding of the technical forces of the industry and ability to create an optimum design and factual representation of profit potentials. 

Enex has provided technical, investigative, conceptual engineering and project financial support services for refineries processing a singular or mixture of world available crude oils.  Enex has completed analyses of optimizing refined products and their world distribution in order to maximize the profitability of existing and new refinery projects.
